What to see in Champagne ?

Reims

City of the coronations of the kings of France, the city of Reims is classified as a city of art and history with no less than three UNESCO sites. There are exceptional sites there: its Cathedral, its Palais du Tau, its Basilica… But Reims is best known for being the city of champagne, Wines of Kings and King of Wines!

Epernay

Epernay is located in the heart of the most prestigious vineyard in the world: 20,000 hectares of vines at its feet, 200 million bottles in 100 kilometres of cellars! To visit Epernay is to discover the sober and elegant architecture of the Capital of Champagne. The “avenue de Champagne” is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Hautvillers

It is in the heart of the prestigious hillsides listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands the small village of Hautvillers, known as the cradle of Champagne. The village owes its notoriety to the legend of the monk Dom Pérignon: it is in this village that he invented champagne! Considered one of the most beautiful villages in Champagne, it has very beautiful wrought iron signs and adorable little alleys.

Troyes

Troyes is a charismatic city, with a medieval look. The city will seduce history lovers with its multi-coloured half-timbered houses, its narrow streets, its Renaissance mansions, its many museums and its beautiful churches!
