Walking tour between castle and vineyard

You want to enjoy a hiking tour on the Alsatian Wine Road but you don’t have a car ? Put on your walking shoes, hop on our Kut‘Zig bus and enjoy a walking day between castles, vineyards and mountains !

Your trip in detail : 

Departure form Colmar at 8.30 am in our open top bus, the Kut’zig, to enjoy a walking day trip on the Alsatian Wine Route.

First stop in Ribeauvillé. Located between vineyards and mountains, Ribeauvillé is a charming city that has developed its heritage in the Middle Ages. The town is dominated by the ruins of ancient castles, giving it a special character. Be redy for a beautiful morning hike in the upper part of the city to Saint-Ulrich, the largest of the 3 castles (about 2 hours walk there and back). The more adventurous can continue to the village of Hunawihr to take the next Kut’zig shuttle.

You are hungry after your morning hike ? Take the Kut’Zig bus and stop in Kaysersberg. Between vineyards and mountains, this village surprises by the charm of its medieval sites grouped around its church. It is one of the most charming cities of Alsace with its cobbled streets and richly decorated half-timbered houses. A picnic of local specialties to take away is waiting for you in a local bakery. Grab your picnic and hike to the Schlossberg Castle and enjoy your lunch with a beautiful panoramic view over the village and mountains !

Next stop is the village off the beaten track of Turckheim ! An independent winegrower will welcome you to his estate and will make you taste 4 differents Alsatian wines.

Last stop in Eguisheim, a charming little village with a unique circular layout.

After a day full of hiking and discovery, take a last drive in our Kut’Zig bus and end your day around 7 pm in Colmar.

Info : after your reservation, Lisela will send you the detailed program (hour by hour) of you micro-adventure. This day trip is not guided and requires a certain autonomy. From Kutzig bus stop, you will need to reach our partners by walk (max. 5 to 7 min by walk from the bus station).
